Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking (SNS JU) publishes first round of calls
The Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking (SNS JU) was formally established on the 15th of December 2021 and the SNS JU work programme has been published.
The SNS Partnership targets reinforced European leadership in the development and deployment of next generation network technologies, connected devices and services, while accelerating the digitalisation of European industry and public administrations. It aims at positioning Europe as a lead market and positively impact the citizen’s quality of life, by supporting key Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), boosting the European data economy, and contributing to European technological sovereignty in relevant critical supply chains.
Viola Hay, European Programmes Manager at Innovate UK KTN, spoke to Colin Willcock, Chairman of the 6G Industry Association, and Craig Sharp, UK Horizon Europe National Contact Point for Digital, to learn more about the SNS JU and the opportunities for projects under the SNS JU 1st Call (click for more info) which opened on the 18th January with a submission date of 26th April 2022.
