Catherine Mort

I started my career at Swansea University where I gained a PhD in green chemistry. I then went on to specialise in Industrial Biotechnology (IB) working at CPI in various roles.

I have spent the last five years running the national industrial biotechnology centre which is part of the HV catapult of manufacturing working on large collaborative European projects.

I joined Innovate UK Business Connect as a knowledge transfer manager in Industrial Biotechnology where I specialise in scale up and working with spinout companies and tech transfer offices within the IB space.
