Matt Chapman

As Head of Health at Innovate UK Business Connect, I lead a team of health experts across areas including medicines, medical technology and digital health – and cross-cutting topics including healthy ageing, precision medicine and the microbiome.

I previously led on medical technology within the Health team. I also lead on IUK Business Connect’s place-based activity in the North West of England.

My background is in R&D management and in manufacturing, originally in the aerospace sector and subsequently in healthcare.
