Call for Our Future Health Industry Members
Our Future Health will be the UK’s largest ever health research programme. It is designed to help people live healthier lives for longer through the discovery and testing of more effective approaches to prevention, earlier detection, and treatment of diseases.
With participants’ consent, Our Future Health will collect and link multiple sources of health and lifestyle information, including genetic data, across a cohort of 5 million adult volunteers that truly reflects the UK population.
Participants will provide information about themselves as well as a small sample of their blood which will be analysed for genetic information as well as stored for future use. This will be combined with their health records and other digital information about them to provide an in-depth picture of their health.
Partnerships with charities and industry are an important part of making Our Future Health a success, including providing part of the funding needed to set up and deliver the programme. The Founding Industry Membership round, which brought together the early industry investors in and supporters of the programme, has now closed following the admission of our 16th Founding Industry Member.
However, there is still an opportunity for companies keen to play a role in helping to co-design, co-deliver and co-fund the programme as we move into its next exciting phase, via our new Industry Membership round.
To join us before the next round of membership closes on the 31st March 2023, the first step will be to sign a non-binding term sheet. The Our Future Health Strategic Partnerships Team would be delighted to speak to companies interested in Industry Membership and provide full information on terms, please contact us at partnerships@ourfuturehealth.org.uk.
