GCRF AgriFood Africa boosts collaboration between the UK and Africa to develop sustainable management of food production systems in Africa. This is done in a way that reduces poverty, increases economic prosperity and improves well-being in Africa.  

The AgriFood Africa Innovation Awards provide funding to UK research organisations to collaborate with an African organisation to address AgriFood challenges in Africa. The awards are part of AgriFood Africa Connect, which brings innovative people and organisations across the UK and Africa together to solve key AgriFood challenges across the continent. 

The AgriFood Africa Connect Virtual Missions 2020 brought together 878 stakeholders from African countries and the UK, through a series of 40 online events.
