From Harry Ferguson’s invention of the modern tractor which revolutionised farming, to Frank Pantridge’s invention of the portable defibrillator and Sir James Martin’s invention of a practical ejection seat.
Today it is a global leader in cyber security and home to breakthrough bio-tech companies such as ProAxsis and Re-Vana Therapeutics. It also excels in areas such as advanced manufacturing and materials handling, while building a reputation for world class capability in new areas such as creative and net zero technologies.
