Our Investment Approach
World Fund is dedicated to identifying and supporting early- to growth-stage companies across Europe that demonstrate high Climate Performance Potential (CPP) – our proprietary benchmark that targets a minimum impact threshold of 100 Mt CO₂ emissions avoided annually. We focus on high-impact sectors, including:
- Energy and Build Environment: Renewable energy innovations, energy efficiency technologies, and sustainable construction.
- Food & Agriculture: Alternative proteins, sustainable agricultural methods, and regenerative food systems.
- Transportation: Electrification, sustainable mobility, and advanced battery solutions.
- Digital Technologies: Quantum computing, AI, and other digital innovations that enable climate-positive applications.
Our typical investments range from €1-15M, with the aim of taking 10-20% ownership, often accompanied by active board roles to provide hands-on support and guidance.
