As Knowledge Transfer Manager ‑ Human‑centred Innovation (secondment) my primary focus at Innovate UK Business Connect is developing and scoping an approach to Responsible Innovation across Innovate UK. Responsible Innovation is about considering the wider implications and unintended consequences of innovation, including how it impacts people and planet.

At Innovate UK I support the commercialisation of climate tech solutions through our work on financing net zero, supporting innovative businesses to accelerate the adoption of net zero and climate tech solutions, alongside designing interventions to accelerate the flow of capital into climate tech.

My background spans the public and third sectors, working with designers, innovators and social entrepreneurs to grow design-led and business-led innovation for social and planetary impact, and leading international cities programmes within local authorities. I am interested in systems thinking and am an advocate for role of the social sciences in technology innovation.
