Hydrogen’s role in the net zero economy is developing at pace. Addressing gaps in codes, standards and regulation for hydrogen and natural gas blending remains an important key to unlocking the low carbon hydrogen opportunity and accelerating decarbonisation.
At this webinar, leaders in the hydrogen standards community from the UK, Canada and the US shared progress and action on hydrogen blending standards development
The event followed on from our March 2021 UK-Canada-US Hydrogen Blending Standards webinars and workshop, which identified opportunities for our three countries to collaborate.
The Workshop Summary Report is now available
The workshops involved discussion across four breakout rooms facilitated by the UK Science and Innovation Network and Innovate UK KTN.
The discussion groups focussed on technical standards models, standards and connections for centralised versus localised blending and developing materials and infrastructure for blending and distribution.
Under each topic the session worked through three key questions to encourage the delegates to share their organisation and country activity around each topic.
