Innovation in time resilience, dissemination and application
This briefing will cover a new grant funding competition from Innovate UK, and will be hosted online by Innovate UK KTN on behalf of Innovate UK.
Innovate UK, part of UK Research and Innovation, is working with the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) to invest up to £4.7 million in innovation projects that contribute to resilient time, frequency and synchronisation and its dissemination and application. This competition is for business-led innovation and is open to UK registered organisations as single applicants or collaborations.

Two types of projects are eligible for funding:
- Feasibility studies with total project costs between £50k and £250k
- Demonstration projects with total costs between £70k and £1m
Projects must start by 1st November 2022.
The key areas for development are:
- Resilience
- Distribution
- Trust, assurance and security
- Integration and processing of signals
The briefing will be online on Friday 25 March 2022 from 10am to 12pm, including a Q&A session. Presentations will provide full details of both the technical scope and the application process. There will be online networking opportunities immediately after the briefing using the Meeting Mojo platform, and an in-person event will be held on the 5 April 2022 from 2pm to 6pm for networking and consortium building.
