After a short introduction to the roadmap project you will hear from a variety of speakers who will talk about the possibilities that can be realised through advanced manufacturing technology. This will be followed by a roundtable discussion on the challenges you face that could be solved with technology and the barriers to adoption. Finally, there will be an online voting system to rank the challenges and ask background questions.
The goal is to produce a roadmap to guide manufacturers in selecting the appropriate advanced technology to solve their challenges. This will link the real issues businesses face with optimum solutions recommended by providers and backed up with evidence of existing successful implementations and their return on investment. Advanced manufacturing technologies include robotics, AI, digitalisation, and software along with the systems to ensure easy and cost effective integration with existing equipment.
