Advanced Therapies Network Launch Event
On Thursday 8th November the Advanced Therapies Network Launch Event will take place at the Royal College of Physicians in London.
King’s College London, Imperial College London and University College London are working together through a new Research England programme to support knowledge exchange within the academic base and with industry in the field of advanced therapies. As part of this work, MedCity is establishing a new network: Advanced Therapies Network.
The aim of the ATN is to support connections and collaborations between companies and academia working in advanced therapies, while providing the opportunity to discuss and debate topics which will be of interest to its members. MedCity, the organisers of the Network, are leading a series of events throughout the year to support networking and provide new opportunities across all academic centres and life sciences businesses in London and beyond. The first of these is to be held on Thursday 8th November at The Royal College of Physicians in London.
The event is supported by the NIHR Office for Clinical Research Infrastructure (NOCRI). The Advanced Therapies Network is funded by the Research England Connecting Capabilities Fund.
The ATN is also working with the Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult. It is MedCity’s intention to run at least 4 networking events each year and at the heart of each meeting there will be high profile, quality speakers who can engage the community and stimulate discussion within the membership of the network.  The events will be free to academics and to the Advanced Therapies industry and will be entirely focused on creating connections within the membership and providing new opportunities for collaboration and partnership.
If you work in cell and gene therapies, gene editing, tissue engineering or other areas in the advanced therapies or regenerative medicine space then the ATN is for you: a network to bring you and your peers together, to share ideas and network at regular events.
