Debra Jones

I have a background in chemistry, and particularly catalysis, as you might expect with more than 18 years experience working at chemicals company Johnson Matthey.

I have worked across many areas from Research and Development through to Innovation and New Business Opportunities, and across a range of industry sectors including Oil and Gas, Automotive, Energy, Chemicals and Hydrogen.

I am currently involved in a number of projects including Critical Raw materials supply chains, Carbon Capture, Use and Storage, the Hydrogen Economy and Cross Sector Battery Innovation Networks, and Sustainable Aviation Fuel. I am the Secretariat for the JZC SAF DG Technology Subgroup.
