Bridging the gap between bioscience and engineering
UCL’s Advanced Centre for Biochemical Engineering has announced its 2018-19 programme of short courses and CPD for the bioprocess industry.
The Modular Training for the Bioprocess Industries Programme (MBI®) comprises a series of UCL-accredited short courses in bioprocessing, designed specifically for industrialists, that can be taken as stand-alone modules or can be combined for Certificate, Diploma or Masters qualifications. These courses aim to bridge the gap between bioscience and engineering and can lead to UCL qualifications at masters level.
The MBI Team have announced an exciting programme of short courses and CPD taking place from Autumn 2018 through to Summer 2019. This programme features a new course on Cell and Gene Therapy (29th April – 1st May 2019) and new material for the course on Current Challenges in Mammalian Cell Processing (21st – 24th January 2019).
In addition to the training schedule, there are are two courses that are available to participate in online at any time. A new course on Antibody Targeted Therapies is available now, and a course on Industrial Biotechnology: Biocatalysis through to Synthetic Biology is coming soon.
