Sourcing and using Healthy Ageing facts and figures
Led by Dr Elaine Douglas (Research Programme Manager, UKRI SBDRP) and Dr Aideen Young (Senior Evidence Manager at Centre for Ageing Better) the session was an introduction to trustworthy and easily accessible evidence data, including what it is, where it is, and how to use it practically.
Using evidence, data, facts and figures is vital for the development and delivery of any project – but what information in the healthy ageing domain is out there that you can make use of, and where should you start?
Come along to this workshop, delivered by Dr Elaine Douglas Research Programme Manager, UKRI Social Behavioural & Design Research Programme and Dr Aideen Young, Evidence Manager at the Centre for Ageing Better, to discover the answer to these questions.
The session will provide an introduction to trustworthy and easily accessible evidence and data, including what it is, where it is, and how you can use it practically – even if you aren’t an academic or researcher. We’ll also hear from one of our Social Behavioural & Design Research Projects sharing insights into the role of data in their project.
