Looking back on KTN's Health Investment Showcases 2020
The Knowledge Transfer Network in collaboration with Innovate UK, the National Institute for Health and Research (NIHR) Invention for Innovation (i4i) and the NHS England and NHS Improvement Small Business Research Initiative (SBRI) Healthcare programmes hosted two Health Investment Showcases events on 28th April and 30th April.
The Health Investment Showcases featured presentations from MedTech, Diagnostic and Digital Health companies based in the UK raising a seed or series A investment between £100k – £2m. The events provided a fantastic opportunity for investors to hear ideas from innovative companies about their ideas to transform the Health Sector.
KTN worked with these companies in two cohorts on an investment readiness programme: one programme based in London and the other hosted and supported by Alderley Park. Despite not being able to deliver these events face-to-face, we provided the companies involved with an opportunity to network and connect with the investment community.
KTN would like to thank all the companies involved for their pitches, as well as the investors for the time to listen to the companies pitching during the two webinars. We’d also like to thank the funders: Innovate UK, National Institute for Health and Research (NIHR) Invention for Innovation (i4i) and the NHS England and NHS Improvement Small Business Research Initiative, as well as Alderley Park as a supporting partner.
