Ocean Energy ERA-Net project to host two business-focussed webinars
The Ocean Energy ERA-Net project will host 2 business focussed webinars on open innovation and funding opportunities, and Investment Pitches.
Both webinars are offered in conjunction with the OCEANERA-NET Final Conference which is taking place on the 30th and 31st January 2018 in Edinburgh.
The first webinar held on the 16th January, 12pm- 1pm, in conjunction with Enterprise Europe Network, is entitled; Open innovation and funding opportunities.
The webinar will cover issues such as:
- Defining technical needs for the next stage in product development/taking new products to market.
- Identifying opportunities for partnering with other organisations e.g. test centres/development partners/potential first users.
- Facilitating discussions (including IP issues) with other parties.
- Highlighting support available to help you to find the most relevant funding routes and support you in applying for funding.
A further webinar will be held on the¬†5th February 2018 entitled¬†‘Investment Pitch: Communicating your Value Proposition to Investors‚Äô, which will¬†explain what a value proposition is, describe the tools you can use to build your value proposition and discus how it should be used in the investment pitch, for “to market‚Äù and/or sales activities.
The webinars, developed and delivered within the framework of the EU funded Ocean Energy ERA-NET, will include specific examples applicable to the ocean energy sector; however, both are designed to provide a general overview, and therefore they are not limited to stakeholders of a particular sector.
