Overview
Bringing together industry and experts in Quantum Computing
Innovate UK is calling for projects aiming to apply innovative solutions to industrial problems using Quantum Computing (QC) and explore the impact and feasibility of such applications.
As part of the National Quantum Computing Centre (NQCC) programme, a total of £8 Million will be allocated into the funding of large and small QC studies with a total cost of up to £0.5 Million.
Our aim is to bring together end-users from all industry sectors (manufacturing, transport, financial services, etc.) with experts in QC to identify and develop use cases in the UK that show the potential commercial benefits of this technology.
Who is this event for?
- UK registered businesses of any size who are interested in exploring possible benefits from applying QC into any part of their activities.
- UK organisations working in QC who are looking into develop practical applications for industry.
We are interested in projects addressing one or more of the following objectives:
- Developing a use-case with clear industrial application(s).
- Developing a novel quantum algorithm or present an innovative application of an existing one for solving a problem(s) observed in industry.
- Analysing the hardware/software requirements for solving industrial problems with quantum computers.
- Benchmarking a quantum application solution on quantum hardware or on a quantum emulator.
- Developing hardware tied to a particular application or set of applications.
