Registration for Graphene Study 2019 is Open
Registration is now open for Graphene Study 2019, which will be taking place 3 – 8 February in Obergurgl, Austria.
Graphene Study 2019 is organised by The Graphene Flagship in order to educate students and early career researchers interested in graphene and its applications. The 2019 edition will take place 3 – 8 February in the Austrian Alps and will cover fundamental science and material synthesis for graphene, 2 dimensional materials (2DM), their heterostructures, and 2DM applications for electronics, spintronics and optoelectronics. The aim of Graphene Study is to bring together students working on related areas of research with experienced scientists from academia and industry.
Graphene Study 2019, focussing on the science and technologies of 2D Materials, will be chaired by Vladimir Falko of The University of Manchester. Further speakers are to be confirmed, but so far there will be representatives lecturing from Hong Kong University, The University of California, The Ohio State University, Pisa University and the Max Planck Institute amongst others. The week will also include poster presentation sessions. The event helps PhD students and early career researchers develop into outstanding researchers in graphene. Registration is open to students, academics and industry representatives.
