The UK is constantly improving its ability to detect chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosive (CBRNE) threats. The US Defense Sciences Office at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) is soliciting innovative research proposals in the area of advanced chemical and biological detection technologies to support a networked system of sensors for the detection, interdiction and deterrence of terrorist attacks. The opportunity opened on the 5th April with with full proposals to be submitted by 31st May.
