University of Nottingham to host annual KTP Associate Conference 2018
On 25th and 26th June, the University of Nottingham are to host the annual KTP Associate Conference.
The National KTP Associate Conference is held each year to bring KTP Associates from around the UK together to celebrate the benefits and successes of the collaborative work between companies and academic institutions through KTPs (Knowledge Transfer Partnerships).
This year’s conference is set to be a little different.
Based on feedback from previous years, the duration of the event has been increased to one and a half days to allow more time for some really exciting content. Each session will give associates practical take home learning that they can apply in both their projects and beyond in their future careers.
Associates will be able to hear from business leaders on their experience of KTP projects and what they look for from their associates.  We will also have a number of former KTP associates at varying stages in their careers to reflect on what they learnt from their projects and how this has impacted on the rest of their careers.
Associates will still be able to present at the conference and there are number of ways to do this in 2018.  Traditional speaking and poster presentations will be available and we will be running a video pitch competition with some great prizes for the winner.
Finally, for the first time there will be a conference dinner for all attendees included in the price where associates can network with other attendees and speakers.
