Meet the Defence and Security Accelerator (DASA) and find out how it supports innovative ideas for defence, security and UK prosperity.

 

DASA is holding an event on the 18th September in Inverness to give businesses the opportunity to meet, hear about the funding opportunities available and have one to one meetings with DASA and Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE).

The Defence and Security Accelerator‚Äôs mission is for the UK to have the most innovative defence and security capabilities in the world. The Accelerator achieves this by finding and funding innovative ideas from academia and industry, including SME’s and Primes, and seeking to rapidly bring them into use across defence and security.

DASA is hosted by HIE,¬†an organisation that works in a diverse area covering more than half of Scotland’s land mass to generate sustainable economic growth across the region. The vision of HIE is to increase the number of people who choose to live, work, study and invest in the Highlands and Islands. To achieve this, HIE supports the growth of innovation in technology businesses with a number of programmes.
