FeedUK Briefing Session 2nd Sept
FeedUK will be a large national collaborative four year programme, led by the food industry. It will be a digital resilience programme for the Food & Drink system and will revolutionise the UK’s approach to its Food & Drink system, drive technology adoption and make the UK Food & Drink system the most robust and innovative globally. The Briefing Sessions will explain the purpose, vision and process that we are proposing for FeedUK. This will be followed by a series of focussed sessions for each tier of the Food & Drink system, at a later date.
What is FeedUK about?
FeedUK will be a large national collaborative four year programme, led by the food industry. It will be a digital resilience programme for the Food & Drink system and will revolutionise the UK’s approach to its Food & Drink system. It’ll drive technology adoption and make the UK Food & Drink system the most robust and innovative globally.
The programme is developed by the Catapult and AgriTech centres, bringing together these world class Research and Technology Organisations to collectively support the Food & Drink Sector for the first time. KTN is supporting the programme with Food & Drink sector engagement.
The programme aims to deliver:
- A digital twin replicating physical in digital to optimise flows of goods and money
- Data exchange infrastructure and marketplace
- Claim validation & verification to enable transparency and traceability

Why attend a Briefing Session?
For FeedUK to be successful, it needs input from industry so it benefits the whole sector.
The Briefing Sessions will enable industry to co-develop the proposal.
The Briefing Sessions will explain the purpose, vision and process that we are proposing for FeedUK. This will be followed by a series of focussed sessions for each tier of the Food & Drink system, at a later date.
By the end of the process, we aim to have secured letters of support from 100 companies from across the Food & Drink system.
Both dates have the same agenda.
