About Prorizon

Launched in 2022, Prorizon is a digital health tech company, providing software solutions for young people in high-pressure performance-driven industries to optimize their mental and physical health.

“Significant investments are made into physical performance and optimising it, but mental health is predominantly overlooked,” said Joly F Zou, Co-Founder and Business & Product Strategist at Prorizon.

Addressing the sports industry’s imbalance, where physical performance takes centre stage over mental well-being, Prorizon integrates bio-psychosocial data to offer athletes personalised insights and recommendations, easing mounting pressure.

Using an integrated mind and body approach, to achieve lifelong health and performance, Prorizon’s vision is to empower today’s youth in the highly competitive and demanding society by enabling precision health management.

Scalability and expansion with Innovate UK support

After graduating with seed funding from the Zinc Accelerator, Prorizon secured the Innovate UK Fast Start Grant and received wraparound support from an Innovate UK advisor, who assisted them with strategic focus and vision, providing resources and expertise that helped in developing the team.

The Innovate UK grant funding has played a crucial role in proving Prorizon’s product feasibility, combined with additional support from Create Growth, a DCMS programme delivered by Innovate UK, which is currently driving their transformative journey, as the company scales and expands into the creative industries.

The Future

“We are embarking on our next journey, and we are now into our scaling and growth phase. We are moving into creative industries as they share very similar environmental factors to the sports industry,” commented Joly F Zou.

“The Create Growth funding, firstly, allows us to further develop our product, to embed Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) and make our product fully automated so we can scale it. Secondly, it allows us to conduct research within the performing arts industry to do a comparative study and demonstrate the effectiveness of our product. The result of this study will allow us to take this evidence and expand our product not just within the sports but also within the wider creative industries and beyond.”
