EMD Ltd sought to enhance the performance of their radar-based device used to measure water flow in wastewater system
Working with NPL, the EMD Ltd wanted to improve the sensors accuracy in depth and water velocity. Using NPL’s anechoic chamber and scientists with sector leading knowledge, EMD Ltd were able to better analyse the optimal frequency and range for the devices measurements. This allowed them to improve the device performance, which was later validated in water flow testing.
