Decarbonising Ports & Harbours - Solution Roadmapping Workshop
On 15th October 2021, KTN’s Decarbonising Ports & Harbours Innovation Network is hosting an interactive workshop to commence socialising our thoughts on whiteboards in order to frame, structure, and flow ideas into an upcoming Solutions Roadmapping report dedicated to the ports and harbours community. This exercise is crucial to allow us to take stock of the current solutions available and those at different stages of development.
On 15th October 2021, KTN’s Decarbonising Ports & Harbours Innovation Network will hold an interactive workshop to commence socialising our thoughts on whiteboards in order to frame, structure, and flow ideas into an upcoming Solutions Roadmapping report dedicated to the ports and harbours community.
Webinar recording is now available
Building on the Landscape Map in the first half of 2021, Decarbonising Ports & Harbours Innovation Network is now designing the Solutions Roadmap for the Network. Commercially efficient decarbonising Ports will require the development, adoption and deployment at scale of new technologies and solutions. These are currently either in development or will need to be developed by 2025, with demonstration and systems integration projects through to 2030, followed by the deployment across the sector to 2050. This Roadmapping exercise is crucial to allow us to take stock of the current solutions available and those at different stages of development.
To assist this process, we are creating and will start populating a series of online whiteboards which explore different aspects of the Roadmapping process. Taking part in this event and exercise, you will be able to add your inputs and provide your guidance for us to develop our report.
During this workshop, we will invite you to contribute to one or more whiteboards in different breakouts rooms that will cover the following areas:
- Drivers: Policies & Strategies
- Science & Engineering Needs
- Technologies
- Non Technology Innovations
- Stakeholders: Engagement & Collaboration
- Systems & Means
Who should attend?
This event is public and open to all. However, members of the network, from ports and/or harbours stakeholders to solutions providers, as well as members of the wider sector communities (e.g. digital, energy, freight, maritime, mobility and transport) are particularly invited to attend and contribute.
You can’t attend this event but would like to contribute to the whiteboard?
It is possible! The whiteboards will remain open for a few weeks to allow editing or adding supplementary information. Please contact Mark Wray to receive the link and details for you to contribute on the relevant whiteboard.
If you have any questions, please, contact Mark Wray.
