Lead Customer Programme (LCP) funding opportunities
Overview
Join us on this webinar to find out more about the structure of the Innovate UK Global Alliance Africa’s Lead Customer Programme (LCP), a funding call delivered through the Innovate UK Global Innovation Networks between the UK, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, and Rwanda. The aim of the LCP is to accelerate innovations to create or implement new or improved technologies through UK- African partnerships whilst helping meet UN Sustainable Development Goals.
The LCP demonstrates the need and demand for innovation by working with applicants that have a letter of endorsement from a key future user, i.e. the Lead Customer, in the supply chain. We are seeking innovations that can move close to commercialisation. This webinar will cover the scope, timelines, technology readiness level requirements and investment terms related to accessing the funding.
This event relates to LCPs being delivered through 5 Global Innovation Networks (GINs) including:
- UK-Kenya Health GIN
- UK-Kenya Alternative Proteins GIN
- UK-Nigeria Circular Fashion GIN
- UK-Nigeria Sustainable Construction GIN
- UK-Africa Space Technology for Sustainability GIN
During the event we will answer general questions on the LCP – we will also explain how you can ask specific questions related to one of the above GINs after the event.
