£185m Phase 3 Industrial Energy Transformation Fund (IETF) Spring 2024 competition window will support industrial sites in England, Wales and Northern Ireland to decarbonise their industrial processes through investing in energy efficiency and deep decarbonisation technologies. It provides capital investment in the form of a grant to industrial sites, such as manufacturing, mining, quarrying, material recycling and data centres, both within and outside the industrial clusters, to transition to a low carbon future.
During the competition window, Innovate UK Business Connect and Dept for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) are hosting competition clinics to help businesses planning on bidding for Phase 3 funding by enabling them to speak directly to DESNZ and ask questions around potential bids, scope of the competitions, eligibility criteria, how to apply for funding, the IETF support and information services available, etc.
The clinics are run on a fortnightly basis from 20 February to 16 April 2024. The online clinics are Q&A sessions only. DESNZ will not be presenting any information about the IETF programme or the competitions.
