Through four distinctive perspectives, this session highlighted the importance of a diverse and inclusive approach to building innovation capability — wherever it may arise.

We heard from:

• The Intellectual Property Office – sharing how innovators can better understand and access intellectual property support and resources.
• ISO 56001 Contributors – offering insights into the new innovation management systems standards and how they support professionalism and leadership in innovation.
• Greater Manchester Colleges – presenting their Innovation Literacy Course, designed to equip apprentices with practical innovation skills in the workplace.
• The Open University – showcasing inclusive resources that empower individuals to become confident business creators and innovators.

This event offered a space to reflect on how we can work together across sectors to embed innovation into skills development and unlock economic opportunity for all.
