Computing helps produce digital assets and software activity. These can be used by varied sectors such as transport, infrastructure, farming and life sciences.
Combining these areas can help create clever solutions like a low power sensor that never needs a battery change thanks to a harvester and well written software. The collected sensing records are handed off to a server and analysed by a computer cluster located at a national centre of excellence in handling large volumes of data.
The Innovate UK Business Connect Enabling Technologies team works with businesses of any type or size and with research bases that want to commercialise and/or spin out. This includes organisations who have complex issues with modelling, simulation or data analytics. We use our deep expertise to help them find the right approach to solve their problem.
A key part of our work is to enable innovators to source, understand and utilise available technologies. We also help innovators discover and access funding, and to network and create collaborations to fast track ideas and opportunities.
