South Korea was named by Bloomberg in 2018 as the World’s Most Innovative Economy and is one of the most high-tech and connected countries in the world. Host to the PyeongChang “5G” Olympic Games, conglomerates such as Samsung, Hyundai and KT Corporation showcased leading-edge technologies on a global stage. The country’s 4th Industrial Revolution policy is fostering state-private collaboration and it is driving investment in R & D to lead the development of key technologies to develop smart cities, self-driving cars and smart factories built on intelligent infrastructure and clean, green energy.
With a dynamic, highly educated and skilled workforce built around major industries, South Korea offers exceptional opportunities for companies to share and transfer knowledge and expertise and build relationships for cross border collaboration.
