Avatars at the ready? Prepare for the KTP Best of the Best Awards 2020!

Our annual celebration of the most outstanding Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) projects is nearly here. And this year, it’s rather different!
As a result of Covid19 we have reimagined the KTP Best of the Best Awards event, working with our colleagues at ImmerseUK in partnership with Laval Virtual to bring you a Virtual Awards Ceremony on Wednesday 9 September, 4-5pm.
Free to all and with no special equipment needed to enjoy the immersive experience, register now to download the platform, customise your avatar and celebrate KTP success. (Great to see that so many of you have already created your avatar and are exploring and enjoying the virtual venue!).
Hosted by the KTN’s highly experienced Senior Knowledge Transfer Adviser, Fiona Nightingale and featuring talks by Innovate UK Interim Executive Chair, Dr Ian Campbell and KTN’s Chief Executive Officer, Dr Alicia Greated, the Awards promise to be an enjoyable celebration of the extraordinary transformation that KTP collaborations – between companies and universities/research organisations – can deliver.
“I have always been so impressed at the massive impact that the KTP projects have. KTP showcases all the things we value and promote at KTN – the power of collaboration; sharing deep expertise; looking ahead to shape the future; and ultimately connecting people for positive change – the kind of change that contributes to economic, societal and environmental wellbeing.
We are all looking forward to the KTP Awards so we can collectively celebrate the impact of this extraordinary collaborative mechanism” said Alicia Greated.
