Beyond Covid-19: Towards a new funding landscape
A session with three players in the industry on the affect Covid-19 has had on the investment landscape and how innovation will be key to recovery.
Join KTN’s Access to Funding and Finance specialist Charlotte Thompson as she talks about the post-lockdown funding landscape with Nigel Walker of Innovate UK, Roderick Beer of UKBAA and Jane Theaker of Kinomica.
Covid-19 has led to a world-wide pause and a cultural change in business and the panel will discuss areas including how Covid-19 could lead to a democratisation of the investment process; whether online relationship building could ever be a substitute for the little black book; how pivoting, innovating and identifying new markets could help a business attract funding; how businesses can combat pressures if emergency funds aren’t right for them; and whether the changes to our way of working represent an opportunity for investment or a threat.
The panellists will discuss how we maintain this impetus and don’t immediately slip back to pre-Covid-19 ways; what the long-term implications are for the energy sector; and how innovation can help capitalise on these gains to introduce a green economic recovery.
This webcast is part of the “Beyond Covid-19” series that KTN is hosting on various sectors where there have been fundamental changes, considering at what the future might look like and how¬†innovation¬†can play a part in the bounce back.
