Could you become a leader in the transformation of the food system?
The EIT Food Innovator Fellowship is open for applications from future food leaders.
If we are to meet the challenge of feeding a growing global population we will need to ensure that the next generation of food entrepreneurs is equipped  with the required skills to allow them to effectively develop, manage and lead interdisciplinary/multidisciplinary research and innovation projects.
EIT Food Academy has launched a call for the EIT Food Innovator Fellowship, inviting applications from post-doctoral researchers  who would like to boost and diversify their career paths, solve global challenges, and enhance their career prospects.
The Fellowship will follow a one year pathway, starting at the selection of participants, and working towards a winning project idea. After an initial evaluation process, successful applicants will take part in a Hackaton, which in this case will be called the Foodathon, where they will form newly created teams to co-create and further develop the ideas proposed by the participants in a multi/interdisciplinary setting. Ultimately the winning teams will go on to develop their ideas into full project proposals.
In order to enable sufficient time to be dedicated to this activity, the¬†EIT Food Innovator Fellowship¬†will “buy” their time from each postdoctoral researcher’s affiliated organisation, so it is important to ensure the support of your employer.
The EIT Food Innovator Fellowship is open to all creative postdocs worldwide.
The deadline for applications is 15th February 2019. You can find out more here.
