EU H2020 Funded Project 'UFO' to Host First Webinar
KTN is a project partner in the EU H2020 project 'UFO: Emerging Industries New Value Chains Boosted by Small Flying Objects', which will introduce the project in a webinar on 19th November.
‘Ideation Brainstorming’ is the first webinar from UFO: Emerging Industries New Value Chains Boosted by Small Flying Objects.
This online event, which will start at 10am (CET) / 9am (UK time) on 19th November 2020, will give an overview and introduction to the project and run through its aims and objectives, as well as project partners involved and their role.
There are six emerging technologies that the project will focus on and target and these are mobility, environment, blue growth, finance and insurance, climate, and digital and creative / gaming. This is a really exciting time for this project as companies look to innovate and change their existing and future operations to use drone technology. It creates new business opportunities.
As part of the FSTP – Financial Support for Third Parties scheme (also referred to as Cascade Funding or Open Calls) UFO has the fantastic news that a share of up to €3.6M will be available to go directly to up to 50-75 eligible SMEs (up to €60K each) that can demonstrate new software techniques that will benefit any of the six targeted markets.
The webinar will go through the Call for Proposals in more detail as well as present methodology, collaboration opportunities and notice of forthcoming events.
We hope to see you online on the 19th November at 10am (CET) / 9am (UK time)!
