Human-Centred Design for Innovation: Design Thinking in Action
Jake Larsson and Delina Evans from the design team at KTN will be attending a Human-Centred Design for Innovation: Design Thinking in Action Workshop
Jake Larsson and Delina Evans from the design team at KTN will be attending a two day workshop hosted by Future Tonic and Luma Institute - Human-Centred Design for Innovation: Design Thinking in Action taking place on Wed 25th and Thur 26th April at the Design Council, London
There will be a dynamic mix of participants with hands-on activities, providing teams with repeatable ways to innovate and collaborate. The workshop will also look at how Design Thinking is applicable to other sectors. Particularly those sectors that want to rethink strategy, manage risk in new product development or be more competitive by producing products and services that better meet user needs.
This workshop is ideal for those looking to build or add to their innovation capabilities, as it gives people practical, hands-on training in 20+ Human-Centred Design methods they can use immediately to tackle business and innovation challenges.
Over the years these workshops have attracted a fantastic mix of people from companies like Google, LEGO, BT, Jaguar Land Rover, Honeywell, Whirlpool, Waitrose, Crown Packaging and more.
Participants in the April workshop will get a 1-month all-access pass to¬†LUMA¬†Workplace–an online platform with videos, templates, tips and advice for incorporating HCD methods into business challenges.
Participants will come away with the tools necessary to create a structured innovation plan using human-centre design methods (and a LUMA Practitioner Certification).  The KTN design team can also provide further networking opportunities and collaboration opportunities for participants at the workshop.
