Immersive Technologies Summer School 2018
Students and young researchers can apply for the Immersive Technologies Summer School to develop skills required to embrace immersive technologies.
As a part of the EPSRC National Productivity Investment Fund, the Immersive Technologies Summer School will provide students and young researchers with those essential skills required to embrace immersive technologies, such as Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR). This will be a hands-on course that includes tutorials and project work.
All the activities will take place at the Department of Engineering Science of the University of Oxford, from Monday 25th June to Wednesday 27th June. Each day, the course will run from 9am to 6pm.
Attendees will have the opportunity to develop their ideas using various head mounted displays and tracking devices. Moreover, attendees will discover the workflow for immersive app development: from 3D modelling, to user experience (UX) design, storytelling and app deployment.
