ISCF Prospering from the Energy Revolution funded visit to the USA, 17-22 March: focus on energy systems
A forthcoming visit to the USA will allow selected UK businesses involved in energy systems to identify new opportunities in the US energy sector.
The Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) is organising the fully-funded visit to Boston from 17-22 March targeted at innovative and ambitious businesses in the energy sector.
The visit is funded by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) through the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund (ISCF) and forms part of the Global Business Innovation Programme.  The four-day programme will include registration to the AEE East Energy Conference and Expo, visits to leading energy research organisations in Massachusetts, energy perspectives from key players in US energy systems and networking opportunities with leading US businesses and potential investors.
Massachusetts is a leader in developing energy systems of the future, offering unique opportunities for innovation and collaboration.  It has a growing, dynamic clean energy sector and is home to leading research organisations in the sector including Greentown Labs Incubator and MIT.  Boston is host to the AEE East Energy Conference and Expo on 20-21 March which will give companies on the visit the opportunity to understand the latest developments in the USA.
The USA visit will focus on the following areas: energy systems (including system integration between electricity, heating, cooling and transport), smartgrids, energy storage, renewable heat and demand-side response.
