KTN will be sponsoring the ‘Science into Practice’ keynote session at the first virtual British Society of Animal Science (BSAS) conference on Tuesday 13th April.

The session will focus on real life examples of putting innovation into practice, with discussions around how companies are implementing projects during this unique period of change. During the session, Sara will also encourage discussion and debate on how the adoption of new innovations is key to making them successful and assuring that they do offer clear benefits to the industry.

Anne Richmond will also share her story. She is the Research and Development Manager at Moy Park. Anne grew up on a farm in Northern Ireland, rearing pedigree Charolais cattle and free-range turkeys. After studying Biology at the University of Dundee Anne worked in the Agri-Food Biosciences Institute non-ruminant lab. In December 2013 she graduated and during her PhD she was successful in an application to the Institute of Food Science and Technology for their fellowship at the Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology. In September 2014 she joined Moy Park as an Agriculture Analyst and in May 2017 took on her current role.

This event will be Chaired by KTN’s Lucy Mather.
