KTN Congratulates Women in Innovation 2019 Award Winner Agnes Czako of AirEx for Official Ofgem Approval

AirEx is one of only five innovative energy efficiency technologies approved by energy regulator Ofgem.
Who are AirEx?
AirEx is a smart ventilation control and a smart home solution. Sensors measure temperature, humidity and air quality. Smart algorithms enable automatic air flow regulation, while taking into account local weather and air quality data. AirEx opens to reduce underfloor humidity, and closes to reduce heat loss and improve your comfort, all without compromising on air quality in the home. AirEx smart ventilation opens up the possibilities of improving people’s lives who are in vulnerable conditions and in a poorly ventilated living environment.
About the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) Scheme
The Energy Company Obligation (ECO) is a government energy efficiency scheme in Great Britain to help reduce carbon emissions and tackle fuel poverty. The scheme began in April 2013, and over time it has been amended. The latest policy, ECO3, commenced on 3 December 2018, and applies to measures completed from 1 October 2018. Under this scheme, AirEx have been awarded for its internet of things (IoT) enabled smart ventilation control system, and as they were only one in five innovative energy efficiency system providers, we look forward to other exciting future developments from AirEx.
