KTN/Satellite Finance Network surgeries – advice for the space sector
The KTN is hosting Satellite Finance Network (SFN) surgeries at its offices in London on 30 October and 13 November.
Anyone involved in the satellite and space industry would benefit from registering for one of these events.  Experts will be on hand to deliver advice and topics are likely to include:
- Possible access to finance, including grant finance
- Regulatory advice (licensing and spectrum)
- Advice as to business opportunities between companies, including with companies outside the space sector
- FDI and growth in the UK
- BackonBoard Project
The BackonBoard project seeks to introduce individuals with financial, management, strategy, legal, technical, risk management or commercial experience to start-up companies and small companies which may need additional guidance and advice or are looking for a key individual to help them grow and succeed.  Each individual is dedicated to using their expertise for the benefit of encouraging and supporting the growth of members of the UK space industry.
SFN is there to bring the satellite and space industry together with the financial community: offering opportunities for both.  The surgery initiative is supported by several government departments and Ofcom.
The surgeries run between 10am and 4pm at KTN in the Business Design Centre in Islington.
Bookings are in the form of hourly meetings: to arrange a booking, please get in touch with Joanne Wheeler.
