Preview Cyber Innovation in Action at CyberASAP Demo Day 2022

“As a society, cyber is for everyone”, according to the UK Government’s new National Cyber Security Strategy, published just last month. What this reflects is the comprehensive role that cyber plays in all our lives, from the way we live and work to the systems we rely on.
The rapid growth of cyberspace presents challenges as well as opportunities – technological and commercial. And the talented academic teams selected for CyberASAP (Cyber Security Academic Startup Accelerator Programme) are meeting those head on.
Over the course of the last 10 months, they have been developing innovative solutions to a wide range of cyber challenges, creating highly promising commercial propositions now ready for the next stage on their journey to market. The CyberASAP Demo Day is where you will have the opportunity to hear their pitches and assess their Proofs of Concept demonstrators.
Potential investors, commercial collaborators and other interested parties are invited to join us for this unique preview of some of the most exciting innovations in cyber security.
Previous alumni of the programme have created successful startups, been acquired, are spinning out or have licensed their technologies. Between them they have raised more than £17m in further funding to progress their innovations. Find out more about the impact of the programme here.
10 teams (out of the 24 chosen to participate in this year’s programme) were selected by independent assessors to complete the final stage of CyberASAP and between now and Demo Day we’ll be running a Cyber Innovation Series 2021/22 – a short series of previews focusing on each of the teams, the people behind them, and the innovation they’ve developed.

CyberASAP (Cyber Security Academic Startup Accelerator Programme) is the only pre-seed accelerator programme in the cyber security ecosystem which provides expertise, knowledge and support to convert academic ideas into commercial products.

CyberASAP 2022/23
Funding for CyberASAP 2022/23 has just been confirmed for academic teams with a cyber security idea they would like to commercialise.
