Professional training to transform your approach to food systems challenges

IFSTAL, in partnership with the Centre for Food Policy, is launching a new two-day CPD course in March 2019.

IFSTAL (Interdisciplinary Food Systems Teaching And Learning) has developed, in partnership with the Centre for Food Policy at City, University of London, a CDP course in food systems thinking. This aims to help those working in the food and nutrition sector to better understand food systems and the practical implications for their work.

The sessions provide delegates with up-to-date knowledge on food systems thinking and a toolkit for enacting change. They will benefit from an innovative training approach pioneered by IFSTAL which challenges and broadens the ability to take a food systems approach to decision-making. As a practically focused course, delegates will learn to use tools that can create impact in their own organisations and beyond. They will also have the opportunity to broaden their professional network by working with people from other areas and gain access to IFSTAL’s network of change-makers.

The first courses take place in March 2019 at City, University of London:

8 March 2019: Understanding Food Systems

29 March 2019: Changing Food Systems

A further 2-day course will be run on 3 and 4 July 2019 at the University of Reading.

The course fee is £350 per delegate per day. They offer a 20% discount for charities, NGOs and self-funded individuals.
