Recognising excellence in Scotland’s life sciences
Nominations are now open for Scotland’s Life Sciences Awards 2018 and tickets are now available for the dinner and awards ceremony.
Life Sciences Awards
The “life sciences” sector can be defined as including human health (medicine, medical technology, pharmaceuticals, health informatics/connected health), biology and biotechnology (including industrial, marine, pharmaceutical, and agricultural biotechnology) and animal health (veterinary, pharmaceuticals).
The 2018 Scotland Life Sciences Awards feature seven categories, including three new awards designed to shine a light on the sector’s global successes and rising stars:
- Business Leadership Award (2017)
- Rising Stars: Extraordinary Talent (2017)
- Rising Stars: High-Growth Company (2017)
- Innovation Award
- Innovative Collaboration Award
- Global Impact Award
- Investment of the Year Award (2017)
Anyone can nominate – people and organisations can nominate themselves or you can nominate them. The closing date for entries is Friday 15 December 2017. You can find our more about how to nominate here.
Scotland’s Life Sciences Dinner & Annual Awards on 28th February 2018
Tickets are now on sale for Scotland’s Life Sciences Dinner and Annual Awards which will place at the Glasgow Hilton, William Street in Glasgow on Wednesday 28 February 2018. The Awards will see the leading players in Scotland’s vibrant life sciences industry come together to celebrate and recognise the individuals and organisations who have contributed most to the sector in the last 12 months.
The evening will also include a pre-dinner drinks reception, a fabulous three course dinner with wine and exciting post-dinner networking activities to help you make new connections and contacts.
