Shaping the future with geospatial technology
The geospatial event for everyone involved in gathering, storing, processing and delivery of geospatial data takes place in London on 21st – 22nd May.
GEO Business is the largest geospatial event in the UK attracting over 3000 visitors from more than 50 countries. Taking place at the Business Design Centre in London from the 21-22 May 2019, the show is free to attend and incorporates an international trade exhibition, strategic conference, cutting edge seminars, a programme of live commercial workshops and a popular programme of social events. GEO Business is designed for everyone involved in the gathering, storing, processing and delivery of geospatial information.
The show focuses on the technology that underpins many 21st century networks and systems, from 5G phones, construction, utilities to heritage and marine ‚Äì all of whom rely on up-to-date geospatial data and technologies. The event‚Äôs seminar programme focuses on all these areas and many more together with the technologies that capture, process and – critically – use the data. Sectors like Highways, Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Utilities, Asset Management as well as environments like marine and coastal. There is also a growing list of new applications like disaster relief, heritage, locating sanitation in the developing world and commercial retail developments.

The event comes as KTN launches Geospatial Insights Special Interest Group. The new SIG will help stimulate cross sector innovation in the geospatial community and help UK companies create ground breaking products and services. As part of GeoBusiness, KTN is hosting events and drop-in sessions throughout the day on the 22nd May on the top floor of the Business Design Centre.
