Join the Smart Specialisation Hub for a webinar on October 26th (1-2pm) on the changing innovation landscape in England with NHS Confederation’s local growth advisor, Michael Wood and Andrew Basu-McGowan, policy manager at the Smart Specialisation Hub.

This webinar will provide a brief background to the local growth agenda in England from an innovation perspective and will look at how the many strands of policy and funding are intertwined. There will be a specific focus on how data the Smart Specialisation Hub has developed is reflecting England’s innovation landscape.

This will be the first in a new series of webinars looking at the innovation policy context, which will cover Science and Innovation Audits, the Industrial Strategy, the new UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) and the future of innovation funding.

This series will be of particular interest for NHS staff working in research, development and innovation.
