Contracts for Innovation: Net zero heating and hot water solutions
West Dunbartonshire Council seek to upgrade existing housing stock with a focus on net zero heating and hot water solutions.
The aim of this competition is to allow projects to work with West Dunbartonshire Council to develop innovative solutions with a focus on net zero heating and hot water solutions. Projects will work with West Dunbartonshire Council and Scottish Enterprises on their Can-Do Fund initiative to find and develop innovative retrofit solutions to the problem of net zero heating and hot water solutions suitable for smaller properties and flats, including multi-storey flats.
West Dunbartonshire Council is looking to run a potential two-phase approach, with the aim to award a maximum of three contractors to develop net zero heating and hot water solutions. The first stage will appoint contractors who have innovative solutions which meet the project criteria, with potential for a second phase which will be to develop a prototype to test and validate.
Any adoption and implementation of a solution from this competition would be subject to a separate, procurement exercise. This competition covers R&D only and not the purchase of any solution.
Any enquiries can be emailed to corporate.procurement@west-dunbarton.gov.uk.
