About TMF AI ICURe Engage
TMF AI ICURe Engage aims to identify potential beneficiaries of research, introduce participants to tools for commercialisation, and foster consideration of entrepreneurship as a pathway for achieving societal impact and a viable career choice.
The TMF AI ICURe Engage programme is open to all researchers from all disciplines who are engaged in increasing the adoption of responsible and trustworthy AI. This is an introductory, light-touch opportunity, available regardless of whether there is already an adoptable idea; the programme introduces them to ICURe and provides the space and opportunity to think about entrepreneurship differently.
What’s included
- 2-day training bootcamp from Impact experts
- Part-time market engagement spanning 4-weeks
- Introduction to ICURe, ideation, design thinking and Value Proposition Canvas
- Weekly hour-long conversations with peer group support and mentor for 3 weeks
- A minimum of 5 hours of self-study and research over the 3 weeks
- Consideration of how delivering impact may be funded
- Production of a short video report reflecting on knowledge gained and research area impact potential
TMF AI ICURe Engage requirements
TMF AI ICURe Engage bootcamp will take place on the 30th June and 1st July 2025. The programme will end on 8th August 2025. You will need to be available for the entire two-day bootcamp but can be flexible with the rest of your involvement (5 hours self-study, video product time and 3 hours meeting with mentors).

TMF AI ICURe Engage is open to all AI researchers and research students funded by all UK Councils.
