Ayan Mohamed

As Knowledge Transfer Manager for Foreign Investors, I am responsible for building a strong and engaged community of overseas investors and supporting business-led innovation in the UK. More specifically, I work closely with US investors to link them with the UK innovation ecosystem. We look to make new connections and collaborations with overseas investors across all stages.

As a team we are involved in engaging foreign investors and businesses with the UK research and innovation assets and have a particular focus on supporting the ongoing delivery of Innovate UK KTN’s work plan. We define areas of importance to the UK economy and identify and engage relevant international investor audiences.

My background is in business finance, deposit insurance and banking, and I offer a unique perspective as a technical innovator where I developed a key understanding of the technological landscape – managing complex projects and programmes, positioning in global markets, investment drivers and international financial markets.
