Matthew Hogan

I am the Knowledge Transfer Adviser for Oxfordshire, Berkshire and West London.

The Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs) support businesses to engage with expert academic teams on a project-based collaboration delivering sustainable innovation with positive economic impact and additional societal or environmental benefits. 

Prior to joining Innovate UK Business Connect in 2019, I spent several decades working in the FMCG industry primarily in the R&D function. I have experience in product development, process development, quality, food safety, marketing, sales, Open Innovation and longer term scientific research in collaboration with academia. I also have extensive experience of introducing new technology in manufacturing settings globally.

I am a Chartered Chemical Engineer and have a PhD in Biochemical Engineering from University College London.
